Yokohama, a city in close proximity to Tokyo, is a port town with a cosmopolitan feel as it originally flourished as a trade base.
Since it’s a destination that you get to via a nice drive by the sea, you would want to visit by hiring one of our charter vehicles or charter buses. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Bay from Yokohama Bay Bridge that connects Tokyo Port and Yokohama Port. When you arrive in Yokohama, take a stroll around Sankeien Garden to get a taste of Japanese culture. Historic buildings transferred from Kyoto and Kamakura, etc. have been skillfully arranged, and they are spectacular to look at. In addition to uniquely Japanese tea room and Japanese style houses, you can enjoy beautiful seasonal plants.
Let’s have lunch at Yokohama’s Chinatown. You can savor Chinese cuisine at the restaurant, or even snack on steaming hot pork buns from the takeaway stores. In the afternoon, we will visit the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, a historic building turned tourist spot. Let’s enjoy the distinct culture of Yokohama, while doing some shopping or having a rest at a cafe. It is definitely an insta-worthy location, so be sure to take plenty of photos.
For our last stop, let’s climb up to the observatory floor of Yokohama Landmark Tower and appreciate the panoramic view of the Yokohama Bay. If you hire one of our charter vehicles, you don’t have to worry about getting back to the hotel safely after having a drink or two at the observatory cafe.
