When visiting Kanazawa Castle that was built during the Warring States Period, you should carefully observe the wooden buildings that were restored using ancient Japanese methods. You will have lunch at Omicho Market, commonly known as “Kanazawa’s Kitchen”. We highly recommend Kaisendon, a bowl of sushi rice topped with plenty of fresh seafood, a popular choice because it is quite reasonable despite it being a sumptuous meal. In Higashi Chaya-cho, let’s take a stroll around the streetscapes that look like you had travelled back in time to old Japan. We will spend some time browsing around souvenir shops or taking a break at teahouses.
The last stop on the tour is the samurai residence of Nomura family. Although there are no samurais anymore, you can have a close look at Japanese culture, such as the beautiful garden, tea room and sliding door paintings by a master artist. After sightseeing, you can also go to restaurants and hot springs using the charter vehicle.
