Narita Airport known as the gateway to Japan, is the nation’s largest international airport with an airport code of “NRT”. Close to Japan’s capital city Tokyo, 98 airlines fly into Narita from 133 cities making up a total of 136 international routes. In IATA’s Worldwide Slot Guidelines, Narita is listed as Level 3 in terms of airport congestion, as one of the busiest airports in the world.
Since Narita is a large airport and always congested with people, please make sure you look up important locations such as the arrival lobby, meeting place with airport transfer staff and the information center in advance, to ensure smooth transfer after your arrival at the airport.
Although there’s a railway station in the basement of Airport Terminal 1 and 2, the stress-free option for you is to hire a charter vehicle so you can relax on the way to your accommodation.

【Terminal 3: Arrival Lobby】
Terminal 3 is a terminal dedicated to LCC (Low Cost Carriers), but not all LCC Airlines use this terminal so please be careful. The 4 main airlines that use Terminal 3 are Jetstar, Vanilla Air, Jeju Air, and Spring Japan.
For other LCC Airlines, Peach Aviation use Terminal 1, and Air Asia X, Thai Air Asia X, Easter, Scoot, Cebu Pacific, Tiger Air and Hong Kong Express all use Terminal 2. As Terminal 3 is located some distance away from Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 and general parking access is also inconvenient, you must walk or use the free terminal bus to Terminal 2 in order to meet up with your Airport Transfer Vehicle or to catch taxi.
After you receive your baggage upon arrival, go up to the 2F arrival lobby, exit Terminal 3, and walk or catch a bus to Terminal 2.
