When at Kita-in Temple, an important Cultural Property of Japan, you would want to check out the beautiful Japanese garden.
The main castle at Kawagoe Castle is only partially left, but it is still a spectacular building to look at. It is worth paying attention to various furniture from the Edo period and Sugito-e picture drawn on the sliding doors. Kawagoe’s most popular tourist spot is Kashiya Yokocho, a small alley lined with sweet shops full of toy-like confectionery. Just browsing these old-fashioned Japanese sweets is a lot of fun, but why don’t you pick out some favorites to take home.
